Celebrating Women in music

This year our line up for the main stage is made up of great female artists making great music on the World music scene. Adding to the theme is Jordan Jackson a singer and pianist whose style fuses elements of jazz, soul, gospel and pop

Her passion for music was fired up in 2005 up when she began performing in her local church choir. After her A-Levels she went on to study Music at the University of East Anglia. She performed regularly in Norwich with a jazz band and enjoyed singing jazz standards in restaurants and private events.

She has performed at venues across London including the Kensington Roof Gardens, the Jazz Cafe and Ronnie Scott’s bar plus in Paris, Amsterdam and Istanbul and is currently working on her EP, Footprints, due for release this summer.

Her voice is refreshing and addictive with smooth tones accompanied by her band

A performance by Jordan involves audience interaction, lots of smiles and fresh catchy tunes!
